Our Work / Slim Jim Meataverse
Snapping into the Meataverse
A playful, browser-based fan experience for Slim Jim, where every fan gets a GigaJim character to claim, customize and level up.

Context
Slim Jim wanted something original for its famously loyal online community: a fan experience that felt as loud and funny as the brand’s social channels.
Challenge
Most fans had never touched a digital collectible. The experience had to cost them nothing, let them change their character whenever they liked, and explain the basics along the way without feeling like a lesson.
Approach
We managed the Meataverse end to end, from the technical setup through to the design. Fans move from a landing page to claiming their free GigaJim, then customize it with “sauces,” an off-site currency they blend and apply to change their character’s look. The more they play and mix, the rarer their GigaJim becomes, all wrapped in a look inspired by late-’90s flash game sites. Collectibles run on Polygon with fees covered, so joining is free.
